Help With Rubbing!
so im new to rims/tires and i need some major help! i just bought some 19" csl reps and im having problems with rubbing on my SHOCKS.
they are 19x8.5 in front and 19x9.5 back. currently they have 245/45 and 275/35 tires. now i know the front tires are way too big for my e90 325 but my question is, if i use a spacer (maybe 5 or 10mm) will that help with the clearance? also what is the best tire size to use? im not looking for complete aggressive like this previous owner had. please help me!! i want to keep these rims cause they look so nice! |

unfortunately, the guy i bought them from does not know the offsets. i just know he had them on a e46 m3. the back with 275/35 actually fit fine. it was just the front that rubbed so bad. im in the works of looking for 235/35 and maybe using a 5mm spacer to just push it out from the shock area. but im not sure exactly what to do

http://forum.jdmstyletuning.com/show...T-on-your-Rims Still 275/35 is wrong height ratio to 19 inch wheel correct is 30. 275/35 is for 18 inch. Also if you use 235/35/19 and 275/35/19 your difference in diameter is 1.1inch/4.1% You might not need the spacer if you down size the tyres.

Careful with used tires, as most of the time the dismounter/owner will have the "i dont give a fuck attitude" about them. Make sure the tire bead/mounting surface dont have any major gouges, inspect for plugs/patches/bubbles/internal belt separation or else youll be on the side of the road.

265/30 is what the standard on here is with the 235/35 front's, however a 275/30 or 255/30 are also fine.
