I'm sure that light-weight materials are being used these days to minimise any additional weight so there's probably not a massive increase; certainly not enought to make noticable differences to the handling & speed. However, I'd still go manual... ...I think!!!

Manuals do indeed rule

I didnt say auto Porcha. I said Semi Auto. A propa box if you ask me.
Normal autos are wank. Everyone i have tried up untill the 335 was shiiiight. The one in my current car works very well. Wish it was DCT though.

We will never agree on this I don't think
SemiAuto to me is "Auto" if it was more manual than auto it would be called SemiManual! I can appreciate they are very, very good. Thing is you can't beat properly changing gear yourself, with a clutch. Three pedals are better than two for me because I don't feel like I'm driving in an Auto, very hard to explain! It's less the fact that they have come on sooooo much more the fact that you don't have a clutch pedal which annoys me, it's automated, it's not mechnical, you cannot get the same pleasure driving any Auto or SemiAuto than driving a manual. I'm sure this could be discussed to high heaven and we will have difference of opinion Theres those who love technology and have such a thing for outright speed, performance and power and theres those who like more basic, traditional car with more feel and character. I know which I am and can guess which you are! Nothing wrong with either, just have a difference of values which make a car their desired vehicle.

Sounds like Carlos need some support.
I think an auto box is much better than manual, I can eat a burger and hold my milkshake whilst I do some 0 to 60 tests |

No i love a manual. But when when a faster more accomplished item is on offer for the same car it really is a no brainer. But i would be quite happy for every road car to be a manual.
With a manual i take liberties.
