Checking emissions readiness before going for inspection

I have the Bavtec tool and a cheap ODBII code reading and clearing tool, but nothing to check emissions monitor readiness status. I've read a few threads here about people going for ODBII emissions tests, only to be turned away because all of the systems don't have readiness set.

I recently turned CanClear off, and need to go for an emissions check soon. I wanted to avoid multiple trips by knowing if I was able to get all the readiness set before driving over to the test site. There are a ton of expensive ODBII tools out there, but I found this tool at amazon for $22 and free shipping. As soon as you plug it in and then turn the ignition on /engine off, it will show a "Yes" if all Monitors are set. If you get a "No", you can then go to menu item 3 to scroll through all the monitors and see which one is not ready. Thought someone else might like this ability as well.

Here is the list it checks, some are not applicable to our car and will show as such:

Misfire = Misfire Monitor
Fuel - Fuel System Monitor
CCM - Comprehensive Components Monitor
CAT - Catalyst Monitor
HCM - Heated Catalyst Monitor
EVAP - Evaporative System Monitor
2AIR - Secondary Air Monitor
A/C-A/C System Monitor
O2S - o2 Sensors Monitor
HO2S - o2 Sensor Heater Monitor
EGR - EGR System Monitor

Autel MaxiScan MS300 CAN OBD-II Scan Tool - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001LHVOVK

It won't force any readiness to "Yes", but at least I can tell in advance if I'm ready to make the trip for the test, and can also tell which test is not ready.

Attached are the driving cycle descriptions to set readiness, and also the manual for the scan tool.

The drive cycle instructions are very helpful. We found this a few months ago and have been using it to get cars into OBD readiness (or throw a fault after clearing all codes) for customers after fixing various faults.

Haven't used the tool you found, which may be helpful because even the $10,000 Autologic doesn't always tell you when the OBD system is ready for inspection.

Just bumping this to say thank you.
I've been driving around waiting on my Oxygen sensor monitoring system light to go off and reading the FTP pdf you attached will allow me to drive it the way it needs to be driven to get this reset.
