The computer adapts how you drive?

I recall that our 3 series will adapt how the owner drives, but I am not sure what it includes... Does it include cornering as well? Please help me understand

cornering is not computer controlled, the adaptations are the throttle to pedal input (long term) and auto transmission shift behaviour (short term)

in automatic transmission - increase line pressure for harder and faster shifts, increase rev range before shifts.
