Thanks, it is also very accessable since it is right next to 93 and 90. The AutoX is at Devens Airfield in Ayer, MA.

I'm a new BMW owner (well very soon)! So I'll make sure to be on the NE board more often. I came from owning a subaru. However my roomate is an M3 owner and in Aug when I return from over seas i'll have my E90 335XI!
parking garages are always fun. We should have a meet somewhere near boston in the fall, it would be WICKED

Also Nikki you asked before if any of us would be going to the AutoX. Well it seems Josh and I can't sign up due to the BMWCCA website being down. Has anyone been able to get any other people interested in this meet?

You have the perfect ride for it, I remember awhile back you had to replace something. Believe it was blown head gasket? Everything run good now? I'm a huge fan of 240's.
I'm going to make a thread over at Bimmer Forums hopefully can get some interest.

Yep it was a blown head gasket. It's all fixed now. This weekend I'll be racing Nikki's 330i at the BMWCCA autocross, but next weekend I'm racing my car in CT.

I don't know if I'm driving yet, I will see. I guess I have a helmet now I can probably use Corey's.

Sure do, at least until I can afford to do some track days and work towards getting SCCA licensed

Back On Topic- I posted at Bimmer Forums. Seems to be no replies. Maybe due to a few other meets already going on this month. Not sure.

Woohoo! I'm up for a meet, let's work out when. Immediate Boston area works for me too. Last one I went to was 90 minutes away.
I also see a few new e90's signed up for the event! We have a few spare helmets, and I have an extra that I usually bring with me as a loaner. The club's helmets are in good shape and get sprayed, but they are used by a handful of people every event. I'd recommend bringing your own. You may want to borrow mine over the club ones too. It's only got one person's cooties. Come up to the tent and introduce yourself. I'm not running the e90 this event, but a Arctis Silver 318ti w/S52 M motor in it that I bought a few weeks back (if I get the new LSD installed in time). This is awesome that more of you are coming out. I'll be sending out an email blast towards the end of the week for all participants, for any of you who haven't run at the Boston Chapter events. I'll be a bit long, but have all the info you need for a safe, fun event! |

ADSS is a blast. The wet skidpad can be nauseating for me though.
Be careful going to track events. They are addictive, and about 10x more expensive to do. I'm going up to Mt Tremblant for Bimmers Across the Border again this year. The Tremblant resort is incredible, and the track even moreso. Taking the wife and kids. After last year going there, everybody wanted to go back this year. |

Looks wise the updated front end on the 97-98 looks great. The 95-96 looks a lot less aggressive. Performance wise there weren't really any changes. The best year to purchase in my own opinion is an early 95 because they're OBD1. If you get a later OBD2 car you'll have to convert to the older OBD1 harness and computer if you want to do any ECU tuning, although I think Calum's latest board may work with OBD2 S14s. If you're planning on an engine swap you'll be replacing the ECU anyway though.

Larry, quick question -
I'm trying to convince my boss (C5 Z06) to come to the ADSS. Non CCA member. He might be doing the nhis driving school after as well. I guess my question is how do you know how much to pay, the 65 or 105? Do you have to sign up for nhis driving school at the same time to get the 65? Thanks, Josh
