Insurance question
Not sure if i am in the right place to post this. My agency quoted a cheap insurance company called Travelers insurance. i have been using Geico ever since i purchased my car. it's about 500 cheaper. Any one heard of Travelers insurance or had any experience with it. Please let me know. It's it worth it to exchange. Any thoughts are welcome.
Thanks for the help in advance. |

how much did they quote you per month? full coverage? remember its an 800 number and those types of companies find ways to not pay claims. check their ratings with the department of insurance. its free to look. if they arent on there which im sure they aren't its no bueno.

Travelers is a good A rated insurance company. Just make sure the guy/girl quoting is honest and not just giving you a low ball quote. Best way to check for rating on insurance companies is A.M. Best. It will tell you how financial sound the company is, there rating and I think it will also tell you how there customer service is...

Seems like quite a few people have gone to this guy to get some info and stuff. hes a broker so he has a few different companies he goes through to get you the best coverages and rates your looking for. Doesnt hurt to give him a call and talk...

No problem man. Not just submit the form, but i mean if you call him and talk to him, he can give you an evaluation, talk to you about coverages you need and dont need, whats best for you, etc. Either way, hopefully he can help you out!

I call in today and he is a pretty honest guy. He said i should jump on the deal i got and there is no way he can beat it. Anyway, it was a good talk.however, after i settle down everything with my agent. he sent me a Insurance ID which has Standard Fire insurance company on it instead of Traveler Insurance Company. I search online and seems like it's a sub company of traveler. Not sure about that though.
