How to diagnose a boost leak

Last night following a local car meet I did some runs against a mustang 5.0 and a bolt on C6 vette. During the course of the runs I got and got a cel and experienced a loss of power under full boost.

I got a "P30FF" code if I am remembering correctly.

How does one with limited wrenching ability go about finding the leak? The cars great under most driving conditions, I only get this code when going all out. Diverter valves gone bad? CAI?

Thanks for the help!

are you running the V400 maps? if yes go V401.
Otherwise just check all FMIC connections, charge pipe, dvs etc.

Yessir V400.

Thanks Enrita. I thought it was a hardware issue based on the code but I guess it may be software related

It might be hardware, check all connections if the problem persist.
