Boost Leak and Code 30FF

Hey I had the car for about 2 months with no tune in it. I just got the code 30FF tonight and car went into limp mode. Still had decent power but it was a little laggy. The code looks like a boost leak.
How do you go about finding and fixing the problem?
Thanks guys

there are items that need to be checked

Diverter valves and the boost tubing
Charge pipe from throttle body
Intercooler piping

Check all those items to see if anything popped off or got loose

I had similar problem and suspected sticking wastegates.
Dealer changed the boost solenoid valves and the car was ok again.
My dealer also told me this was a very common problem with 335i's , they had them in stock and changed them while i waited.
I found it strange cause i never read about it on this forum.

Also if you're running the stock intercooler make sure you have no cracks on the plastic sides, that was my problem.

Just got this yesterday as well, turned out the charge pipe broke of the throttle body, like BROKE O.O at the dealership now....had to go back to stock intake just to avoid questions and warranty issues, not fun at 1am after a long night at work

My 30FF with increased boost was due to a vacuum line leak... Take it to a shop and they can do a smoke test looking for the cause... Pretty cheap for my vacuum line leak.
