Guys, just a quick comment... before anybody can make a decision we need to have a concept. I am in @ $1200 assuming no emissions impact, SE light or other warnings coming up, and a nice power bump. I don't need a sales pitch but I do need to make my decision based on "something". Right now "something" doesn't exist.
If you are just gauging interest, sure - I am in. Quote:

The nice thing for you is that you could have VAC do the installation.

See how VAC isn't far from me and if all the other concerns are addressed I am def down. My car would have to be retuned so the headers work with my current tune though. Does VAC have dyno and Internet connection so eurocharged could tune on the fly right after install?

I got 1 email. If the demand is there I can easily develop a product. If not, well nothing else needs to be said

Btw, I had pm'd you about this last year but as you know the n52 is shared across multiple platforms and I'm pretty certain there would z4 folks who'd be interested in a set. Do you know if the same headers on an e90 n52 would fit on a e85/86 n52? |

If you're saying fitment between 128/130 coupe and vert is the same, that's no surprise. If you're saying n52 headers off 328/330 is same as 128/130, then that opens up more opportunities to fill a potential group buy. The latter is where I was going with when I asked about Z4's.

but yes, between the 3 and 1 series, exhaust fitment, at least headers, is the same, and even the cat-back i think is very VERY close. |

I have been trying to google pics for the past few days to see what the z4 n52 headers look like. Anyone have a pic?

My buddy and I are building a Z4 race car (2007 3.0si Coupe with the N52) and we are more than likely going to be doing this:
See post #3 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=382656 More info here too: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ght=cat+delete Should be much cheaper than a true SS header, plus no waiting for someone to develop it. Dyno tested 15rwhp without a tune is really good. Hopefully with an off-road tune we end up getting about 20-25 crank hp added. For those running your cars on the street, make sure you don't have an issue passing emissions tests. If you remove the cats, there will more than likely be an issue passing the test.
