Well I was lucky and got on a boat within a few days after transport to port. The hardest part of the wait begins now... the ride home... The fun part is waiting for it to be built. I should have my car next week..... Im hoping!

So I've been checking the OC site for weeks now and it's been saying that my 328i coupe is "On Order." Frustrated with this, I called the 800 number to see what they would say. Turns out that not only is my car built, but it's at the port of exit waiting to get on a ship!! What the hell is wrong with the OC order tracking system??

I asked what production week I was so I could compare with the members of this forum to see what ship I'll get on and so forth. I was told 'Week 26' and that my car was completed on the 28th of June and arrived at Bremerhaven on the 2nd of July.

Anybody got any idea as to what ship it'll be on for a WestCoast / Port Hueneme delivery?

Hooray, Called my CA and I AM on the Pegasus Diamond. Due in to Oxnard July 14, and hopefully eready for pckup by the 24th. Just trying to stay calm...

I got my bill of lading and can now call the shipper to check if the ship is on schedule. If you have yours, you can try too. Call the RoRo office at NYK lines and they will tell you where the ship is.

anyone made it on the toronto heading to the east coast? i've been at the port since june 30th and ive missed the courage and i dont think i got on the toronto either.... and i found out today that my CA has left for another dealer. i hope i dont get screwed over when i actually take delivery in terms of everything i've been promised.

Got my OEM aero lip this morning via UPS and my CA called to tell me my baby will be available for pick-up tomorrow!!! Actually, it was already available earlier this evening, but my work got in the way. Oh well what's one more day right?!?...after waiting almost 10 weeks.

Here's a short timeline of what had transpired in the past 10 weeks...Ordered my baby on April 28 got $1000 off MSRP, dealer slid my order into a future allocation, my baby was built on week 23, 1st week of june, finished production on the 5th, was loaded on the Madame Butterfly on 8th, docked on the 30th at Port Hueneme, transported to the VPC on the 2nd of July and was ready pick-up today the 5th.

Hopefully, I can get some sleep tonight and the following nights after I pick my baby!!!

so according to that dbh logistics link that you provided miss monaco, i should be on either the KIWI AUKLAND or the LYRA LEADER, since those are the 2 NYK Line vessels set to depart in the next 2 weeks. if im west coast i have to be NYK right?

West Coast doesn't always mean you're going to be on a NYK vessel. I'm on a WWL vessel due in on the 23rd. I happened to be bored and decided to plug my VIN into WWL auto cargo search and to my suprise it said my car was loaded on the vessel.

Not sure where everybody got the idea that San Diego Marine Information Systems will give you the schedule for Port Hueneme... they are 180 miles apart. SDMIS gives San Diego's schedule, and as far as I know BMW's don't get unloaded in SD. See http://www.portofhueneme.org/home.php for Port Hueneme's schedule. And miss_monaco is right, WWL ships also carry BMWs to the west coast. So for those lucky few on WWL ships, you get to track it!

Thanks for straightening this out. My vessel -- the Pegasus Diamond -- is apparently docking in San Diego July 12 prior to arriving at Port Hueneme on July 15.

munich fanboy...I too had a week 26 production, car completed 6/29, moved to "waiting at port" status by July 2. Just got confirmation from my CA that my 335 vert has been loaded on the NYK Eijin, left Bremerhaven on July 3, due in Port Hueneme on July 28! Hopefully, yours is on the same boat!

Yes the waiting is coming down to the home stretch - mine is in Halifax now and NY on Thursday and hopefully mine sometime next week - barring and delays with customs or the VPC

BMW OC says im at the VPC.... since that is like 2 days behind... that must mean I am at the dealer today or tomorrow.... I better call them and see whats going on! I want to try to make saturdays south fl meet.
