Just so that people are clear with what you are looking for; what do you mean by "M3 HOOD shocks"?

Ummm they can also b called hood springs. U know the gas shock that holds the hood up, preventing it from closing on its own.... what's the correct term? I thought it was "shock"

I just put my C/F hood on yesterday and it does kinda twist and contort when trying to close, with one hand especially. you have to make sure to use both hands and press down with even pressure about shoulder width apart on the hood, or else it flexes. I'm going to order the M3 shocks just for piece of mind, but i dont think its needed if your careful.
