outer angel eye barely lit
Just got the BMS LED upgrade for my E92 angel eyes. Install was kind of a pita considering how small of a space you have to work with. After install I turned them on to check them out and the inside ring is SUPER bright, however it seems the outer ring has almost no light to it at all. Very different than pictures I have seen. I'm thinking the bulbs may be in wrong or something. Any input would be great
UPDATE~~~~~~~ Did a couple uninstall/reinstalls and results still the same. Took two more pictures Daylight Shade in garage UPDATE~~~~~~~~ Requested photo of farther away - taken with Canon T2i Fast shutter speed, a little out of focus A little slower, really makes them look nice. Still a little out of focus. Last edited by amill411; 04-15-2012 at 08:45 PM.. |

Yes I twisted it as much as possible.
They are the 4 led. I can move them around inside the fixture but they don't pull out through the back. So I pull the o-ring off the light and put it on the other way? |

I removed the LED light, and turned the o-ring around, the fit is much better now however the brightness on the outer rings has not increased.

The outer rings are hardly see when its bright outside... Don't know if that is because the design of the angel eyes, the outer ring are just reflect the light come from inner ring. |

Mines the same way. Kinda sucks but whatev. Doesn't really matter when the HID's r on. It's weird tho cause the pics of the angel eyes T has on his website are super bright, all 4 of them. Send T an email and find out whats up. I'm curious as well.

Seems like the new bms led reviews hae all been pretty bad.

Based on what people are saying I'd return those while you can. No offense but it doesn't really look like an upgrade anymore Too bad because the others are very bright.

OP, try twisting it a bit more to the left or right, because the led's are clearly not shining directly onto the fiber optic cables. Either that or bms didnt designt he led placement properly and these dont lign up with the fiber optic cables...

Yes, they told me "It should be just like that. Just like the stock ones but led color." Last edited by amill411; 04-15-2012 at 02:01 PM.. |
