I'm kind of on the west end (by Canada's Wonderland). I was going to see who was interested in a pre-meet at Vaughan Mills before heading out to the BBQ. I know that adriang has expressed interest. Depending on where you guys decide to meet and route to take to the meet, maybe we can sync up.

There will most likely be a pre-meet in Mississauga heartland area as well. We can meet with with that crew and drive down.

Here's an idea. Those in Vaughan / Maple interested in a pre-meet, we can meet up at the Second Cup in the plaza at Rutherford and Bathurst. Then we'll head over to the SportCheck at Woodbine & 16th to sync up with the Sauga crew (assuming they plan to take 401, up on 404, and across on 16th / Major Mac. I don't recommend Hwy 7 due to the # of traffic lights). From there we can roll as one group to the BBQ.

As for timings, I guess it depends how early we want to get there haha. I think it will only take about 15-20 mins to get to the BBQ from Woodbine & 16th.

I think the group coming in from Sauga will likely go straight over to the 404 before heading north so they won't have to deal with Yonge & 16th area. Also the reason why I suggested syncing up with them at Woodbine and 16th is because it's right off the 404 and they'd need to cut across to McCowan anyway and 16th / Major Mackenzie is much lighter traffic and traffic lights than Hwy 7. The location may also allow some Markham members to sync up there as well and then we'd roll in LATE and LOUD as one big group.

How long do you guys plan to meet at Heartland before rolling out?

OK West end peeps. Here is a plan I propose.

First stop:

Oakville/Burlington/Hamilton

Meet: Tim Hortons (Oakville)
Location: Third Line/QEW (North of QEW)
Departure Time: 1:20 pm

Drive to: Second Stop

Second Stop:

Mississauga

Meet: Scotiabank (Heartland)
Location Mavis Rd and Britannia (Northwest Location)
Departure Time: 2:00 pm


Route: 401 to 404--> exit at 16th Ave--> East on 16th.-->South on McCowan--> Left on Hwy 7

Third Stop (Pending):

Meet: ???
Location: 16th ave/Woodbine AVe.
Departure Time: 2:45pm

This is still pending as it depends on how many cars meet up. If we have too many cars from the 1st 2 pitstops, we will just head straight to the meet. Or you guys can meet with us on the go as we are driving by (I'll keep in contact to inform you where we are).
