Procede V5 2.5 Help!

Tonight I have experienced twice of misfire, 1st full-throttle engine light automatically dissappered while driving, 2nd full-throttle engine light can dissappear while I parked aside and restart my car, but while I restarting my car, I still feel the engine is shaking like misfired in the beginning.

This problem is occured only on Map1 (I think the same as Map 2), while I suddenly WTO, it's won't be happened if I just kick down the pedal around 50~70%. Well, as Shiv said before it maybe the problem of the throttle position sensor but I did the calibration before. And the funny thing is after I back home and check with my laptop, there is "NO" error code showed on Procede Interface as attached photo.

My car:
335i DCT built on Oct 08
3" catless downpipe installed
V5 2.5 Software 5.34
Map : 5-23 Stage 2 for 6AT, parameter set as attached photo

Would it be Stage 2 too aggresive for my car? Or other problem that caused this but WITHOUT can trigger out any error code?

The calibration of pedal sensor maximum is before u can kick pedal to the floor which u can feel the clicking (kickdown switch?), which is ontop of that kickdown switch, am I rite? So, why the maximum value would be somtimes 429 or 431 but mostly stay on 429? If I really kickdown the pedal, the value would be 468, but I think I do the right calibration, do I?

Thanks all in advance.

Get an intake valve cleaning. I use to notice what seemed to be like misfires when I accelerated. After the intake valve cleaning, it went away. Definitely worth it

Also, calibration is done right up to the kick down switch. DON'T press it. Just press it until you feel your foot touching the button.

I reinstalled the software and map last nite again, but this time, I use default value, and I have driven out half hour ago, misfire problem still there, but I notice that this misfire will trigger when rpm raising till 4000 and you can feel and hear clearly from exhaust that the misfire sound. Tomorrow I will take my car to clean up the intake valve and other related parts, and checking the plug and coil status too.

Again, I bring my laptop this time, parked aside and still can't trigger any error code from Procede = =

Have you read the specific code? Is it localized to 1 particular cylinder? The most likely cause for misfire is old/worn spark plugs. But I've also seen bad coils, bad injectors and carbon build up cause it as well. First step would be to read the specific code.

Also, you want to read CAN DME Codes, not Procede Trouble Codes. Procede Trouble Codes are procede-specific codes (leanrun, excessive meth flow, overboost, etc,.)

Hi Shiv,

I sent to garage on this Monday but still could't read any code. Spark plugs have changed about 10,000 kms before for whole set, injectors have been replaced with 4 new during last recall, carbon built-up issue has been notice but maybe will solve on next time.

We think that maybe the HPFP problem, and my car in on garage today and changing with new HPFP, will report here after finish installation.

Hi Shiv, do you mean the CAN DME Codes as attached photo? If so, still couldn't trigger any code.

Finally, I drove out again half hour ago and triggered the attached error code, would it be the spark plug or coil on cylinder 3?
