If you own one of these cars I feel catless DP's are a must. Not just for the sound, which is much better than stock and not to agressive or loud, but for turbo reliablility and a bump in power, with or without a tune.

W/ DCI and DPs you will definitely hear your turbos spool around 2-3k. I love it! Stock you would never know these cars had turbos (obviously what BMW wanted), but I've always thought there was something exotic and sexy about hearing a luxury German car spool up!

the flat is there to keep the noise down on startup and below 3k rpm driving. just unplug its switch from behing the left tail lamp. no side effects or nothing but nice sound.

I hear it spool all through my powerband and whenever I go WOT in any gear. turbos spool loud in my car at 15-16 psi. But i have all stock which is why i'm wondering if it is normal that I can hear it spooling so clearly. Other people say they don't hear it when all stock?
