Viewing measured tire pressure
So I'm PRETTY SURE my car (e90 LCI 328i) has active tire pressure monitoring. In the BC menus, I can set the pressure units to either PSI or kPa, suggesting that somewhere, actual pressure values will be displayed. The question is, where? Is there anywhere to actively look at the tire pressures? Does the measured pressure pop up if the TPMS flags it as low?

Depending on the year and software reflash, the TPMS error message will indicate which tire is low. It generally comes on when the pressure has dropped about 25% below the baseline setting. Tom |

Hmm. Sounds like I'll have to break out the compressor/gauge/can cable and fiddle+pray.
EDIT: So there's this, in KOMBI K4116_C_TEMPERATUR_1 wert_02 K4116_C_TEMPERATUR_2 wert_02 K4116_C_TEMPERATUR_3 wert_02 K4116_C_TEMPERATUR_4 wert_02 K4116_D_TEMPERATUR wert_02 K4119_C_DRUCK_1 wert_03 K4119_C_DRUCK_2 wert_03 K4119_C_DRUCK_3 wert_03 K4119_C_DRUCK_4 wert_03 K4119_D_DRUCK wert_03 Druck=pressure, and temperatur is interesting since, in some iDrive models, tire temperature is displayed as well. Of course, I have no idea what the wert_03 setting corresponds to. Hmm. There's also AUSWERTUNG_B_DRUCK in CAS, default nicht_aktiv. Setting active doesn't seem to change anything. I have been told that the e90 M3 was supposed to have active tire monitoring but was not implemented. This may be junk coding left behind because it was cheaper than going in to remove it. I am going to look into it though because I would love the feature for track use.

I would like to know as well. I have this feature on my FX35 and it's nice to be able to see the cold and hot pressures real time.

It's available on the F-series (coding).
