if you plan on leasing/buying another BMW after you return the current one, you shouldn't worry too much. My dealer told me that in the case of repeat leases they close their eyes on many imperfections in a returned car.

I leased and have exhaust, intake and software-just keep all the stock stuff-Everything is "bolt on" so you can return it to stock for a couple hundred bucks when your lease is up-or if you install it yourself then you can easily return it to stock.

Or just clamp it back on. BMW makes clamps nowadays for when the muffler's have to get replaced due to the little diverter valve rattling...
