Fishcake Depo Headlights
I was debating on what kind of headlights to put on my 2009 328i with halogens. I ended up going with the fishcake route. The lights look incredible on the car. The only problem was, it burned my FRM module. Has anyone ever experienced that? There was a short in the headlight and that is what caused the fried module.
My options now are: Keep my stock halogen headlights () and return the fishcakes as they have agreed to refund me. or Ask them for another pair and give it another try. I have a brand new FRM module on the car and everything is working fine with my oem headlights. |

Ok everyone I just returned my fishcake headlights and I found a set of OEM LCI Adaptive Xenons for $900 but I would still have to get the ballasts and the adaptive module. I was wondering if anyone in the Los Angeles area has done the conversion before, or would know of a reliable shop to get it done at? I would like to confirm that it is indeed possible to do this before purchasing the headlights as they would need to be shipped from Castle Rock, CO. Thanks.

i just dont like the way the headlights look without the projectors on them. It looks really cheap and the reflection of the lights are pretty bad. brighter angel eyes are just an extra on the side.
I just found out that he doesn't have the turn signals for the headlights either. |

If you really want OEM I'd suggest waiting and browsing the lighting classifieds(the non sponsor ones), you can find a pair in there, bulbs, ballasts, control modules, and housings all combined anywhere from $600-1000, just gotta be patient.

ive been looking for about 3-4 months now and i either missed all of them that came up or im looking in the wrong section. I am looking for LCI xenons so that makes it harder to find and almost 2x more expensive. The set I have found is from the classifieds on the forum.

I am looking to buy the depo v2 headlights for my e90 2006, can anyone confirm if the side indicators constantly stay on? As with many pictures they do not seem to be off?
Also has anyone had any problems with these with the UK spec car, looking for the RHD model Thanks |

btw i have depo lights but mine did not come with full led Lights. Only 4 led. 90degrees offset from each other. I order the FULL LED rings themselves and installed them in my headlights. I no longer need them and im looking to sell them. If you are interested let me know. |

my module burned and that was the reason it would turn off. I know you can get them coded off and that is what I had with mine. Everything was working fine for about a month and then all hell broke loose.

The parts for your conversion...
Can be found on ebay. I just ordered the 6000k d1s bulbs from sonic tuning, two ballasts, two corner blinker led lights from eBay and I am getting lux angel eyes when they're in stock. Let me know if you need links for the conversion. I bought 320d lci headlights from a 2009 btw and I have a 06 pre lci e90.. Plan to do the install on my own and with help from diys and a lil searching.

Adaptive module
No I haven't I thought all you needed was to code the frm2? I am on the look out for one. I found one on ebay but I want to wait to see what model I have first. I have an 06 325i so I may just have the old FRM.
