I bought a CF diffuser for my quads and they sent me dual exhuast one after 5 week wait. call their customer service and they dispatch me another one and because i had no time to fit it on until about 1 month later , i have found out the diffuser does not fit because it is so much shorter.

Rang the customer service and they agreed to try and fit it on and if it fits, i would be paying labor and if my original one didn't fit they would have to fit a new one free for me.

In the end it was their fault and they exchanged one and fitted for me. I give CS a good rating but mail order is shit!

Well I was thinking of dropping it off first thing and pick it up at about 4pm.
I'm not going for coil overs, just the springs. Was thinking of also getting the retrofit lci rear lights, but not sure. Did however think about getting their tune up package on for n53 with would give me an extra 50 bhp, but at over £1500 I dint think it would be worth it.

I'd give them a wide berth too. Used them two years ago for a front end respray on my old Z4 roadster after being hit in the nose at XXXmph by a plastic bottle on the M25. While it looked fine for a few months the paint started to crack later on.

I have fortunately had no bad experiences with them.
I am shocked to hear that you have had issues. I do watch them closely but I do that with anyone I take my car too. But most recently they installed a tough to fit 1m bumper which was in a terrible way when it arrived. They persisted and managed to fit it like oem.

I ordered an aero lip bumper from them and they gave me an FRP one, despite me clearly stating that I wanted a proper Polyurethane one.

I've also heard first hand reports as I know a few people who have used them. Some people seem to get excellent service and some others have all sorts of trouble. Just seems a shame that their service levels seem very inconsistent as they do offer a great range of products otherwise.

That is a real shame... Hopefully there service should be improving then. Maybe they were teething issues back in the day? They are growing quickly now and expanding, dealing with better more expensive cars. Lets hope this is reflected in their work

Out of curiosity... Who do you use for your aftermarket parts? Mstyle may not be as cheap as eBay, but they are a company after all with over heads and quite a few employees for a distributor and garage.
Anytime I have had issues on eBay with parts not fitting correctly they would never accept the parts in return. I have then been taken advantage of when having the parts installed as a lot of work has gone into the fitting and does not look OEM.
I have to go back to my 1m bumper which was a mess from prior designs. The work involved to get that to fit was unreal. But it looks perfectly OEM. BIG THUMBS UP!

They are going to be doing some custom work on my rear bumper at some point soon. I will keep you guys closely posted whether or not the job is anything short of perfect. Oh and they are supplying, painting and fitting my m3 skirts as well as carbon lip for my 1m bumper.

Just don't buy it from M style mate.
I think Teddy from SSDD would be a better option as his stuff usually has good fitment for rep parts. Bonus to that is Mega knows him very well.

On some other BMW forums there reputation is in totally ruined. Irredeemably so.

REALLY!? It must have been there old crew...? As I was completely unaware of this, I brought it up with James at mstyle who I deal with. He said most of their reputation was ruined by previous employees who has no respect for people's property. I think that must have changed by now?

I purchased my CSL boot from teddy. Teddy is an awesome guy but my boot was far from a good fit. Cost me a fortune to have it fitted. He charged me £500 for it, but after the issues I had with fitment and extra installation, painting costs he did give me a £100 discount. Could not fault teddy for giving me the discount. My carbon diffuser was a little better but not great. Required a few modifications to get it to fit.
