This thread makes me laugh. The vendors on here push their H&R, KW crap all over so most people don't even know about their choices. For the price of mid level KW's, you can get other options that are so much better. But the vendors control the site.

Figured this thread is appropriate for my question:
So i have an 08 335i w/ sport package and Im looking to lower my car. However, it doesn't seem that there is any room to go lower in the rear as is. But there is about 1.2 in the front for room to come down. If I get springs and it lowers any more from where it is now I have a feeling ill be rubbing. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Tom |

Curiously, if not in this thread, could you post/pm the other options?

M3 rear subframe bushings tighten up the sloppy rear end if your tires are non-rft's. Lot's of threads here on this stuff

I guess you kinda get what you pay for. Until I went full bore on the suspension upgrade, I was planning to just go to GetBMWParts.com (Tischer) and get the BMW Performance Suspension Upgrade Kit, then the M3 OEM Suspension Kit (arms and sways but no strut tower brace), then I got wind of the LSD and M3 rear subframe bushings. Then someone suggested TC Klines. In the end I figured what the heck, this may be the last car I ever own...might as well make it handle like a BMW should. So I did what is shown below. I don't want to characterize what it handles like and then start one of those pointless arguments, so I will just say it is now where I think it should be. But it cost a lot of money. Could have saved a lot without the foreign springs/dampers and LSD, but the whole suspension is a system that is more than just a sum of its total parts, so putting together your package does require some thought if you really want it right. I agonized over it for 3-4 months before pulling the trigger. Good luck.

No question that is true. Just like a golfer with clubs, skier with skis, etc. But in the end it's sorta up to the owner of the car isn't it? The fact someone cannot take full advantage of the tool he has or wants is kinda beside the point here, right? Certainly I can never take full advantage of my setup due to lack of inherent skill and declining physical capacity. But if the poster wants to have advice on what to do, after he gives his best shot to answer the question of what his goals are, the purpose of these forums is to try to help him out, right?
