Hia guys, I have a set of mv3 wheels but one of the rears has a hairline crack in it, I now have new wheels on the car so looking to sell them, am I best off selling them all together or sell them individually? Or am I best getting the crack welded up then sell all together? Don't have a clue what there worth so would appreciate any advice.

Get it repaired then sell as a genuine set. Price wise it varies on the condition and if with tyres and what condition / sort.....

A mint set with new RFT Bridgestones was for sale on here for £700 and they sold quickly!

I just sold a full set of 19" mv4 with both rear wheels cracked for £230.
Personally I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of getting them repaired or splitting them.
I'm sure if you have the time and patience to sell them separately you'd get more that way, but I don't think repairing the crack is worth it, it's still worth less than a non repaired wheel,and I think you'd only get back what it would cost anyway.

That's only because the tyres alone would cost more than that, basically he gave the rims away for free.
Op doesn't mention any tyres, I'm assuming its rims only.

Sorry should have put about tyres. Fronts have a new vredstein and a new Pirelli both non runflat, but rears would both need replacing. Thanks for the input guys!

Rear tyres are Bridgestone rft's with alot of tread but would need replacing due to one of the tyre's having a nail in it. Only found out the wheel had a hairline crack when I went to get the tyre changed.

Tyres are basically worthless then, your front axle doesn't even match...

So I might as well sell the 2 tyres on there own then either sell the wheels seperatly or just sell them as a set with a cracked rear. What would they be worth as a set with the cracked rear?

they had rft's on but they needed changing, so just the rims. Id say if you get the same for your 18"s youd be doing ok, sell front tyres seperatly
