Hid bulbs

Quick question h7 bulbs are the low beams for halogen I bought a hid kit thinkin same h7 and the bulb doesn't fit too long, amazon says it fits that while eBay say 9006 fits it! So?
Btw yeah yeah bad to put hid in halogen I know

Cut off the excess. HID bulbs belong in the right applications.
