buyer beware! this seller sent me a leaking intercooler.
when I brought it to his attention, he agreed to refund money. but when I asked him to put comments in paypal dispute center as per Paypals recommendations, he disputed my claim and tried to assert that the IC was pressure tested before being sent out.

after paypal made a decision to refund my money once I returned the IC to the seller, the seller sends my message to send the IC to another name and address??

when I asked him why...no response. I suspect he wanted the paypal dispute process derailed for not shipping it to his correct address. what a piece of work.

Not sure if the OP here bears some responsibility for making the statement about its working condition. perhaps he didn't know and was going based on the sellers info.

I would accept the possibility that it was damaged in transit were it not for his actions after I brought the damage to his attention.

also, when I asked him why he wasn't selling it on ebay as he has an ebay store, he said that he thought the forum is a better choice. I know now he didn't want an ebay issue affecting his rating.

this is the first time Ive ever encountered a dispute in buying online.
Ive returned the IC to him, so no one buy it.
