Had a great time, but as usual, I did not get enough photos! Well I'll have to remember for next time.
A few driver's all over the place yesterday, including the E92 M3, but over all a fun day! Me driving in the 2nd session: A sweet 2002 Alex in his racecar: A cool M3, but the older driver was all over the road (and the dirt), even though he said he tracks the car regularly: Friso's quick 318ti: Both 535i's matched up well against each other: Tony's quick 2.8L 325i, and the 2002:

Fantastic photos. Thanks for sharing once again.
I had a great time. I regret not having a word with the e92 M3 driver. I think the guy had the red mist, but wasn't sure.

Yeah really, I let him by after turn 6, and then he proceeded to go off at turn 8 as I was rounding the corner. He didn't wait, and practically cut me off when entering back on the track in a blaze of dust from turn 4s ramp.

That wasn't the only time he went off. Zach and I watched him go off at 4, he didn't get the black flag because the corner worker at 5 had his back turned, although he did see the huge plume of dust, he couldn't tell which of us went off (found this out later after saying thanks to some corner workers). Red mister didn't bother pitting without the black flag, even though he was WAAAAAY 4 off. Not that getting a black flag would have mattered, because another time he flew past me RIGHT AT T8 CORNER STATION WITH A WAVING YELLOW FLAG. It was only time I have ever honked my horn at the track. LOL at the picture above too, not even on the line on the friggin' front straight, 3 feet off from the edge where one should be, and is that a hand at 11 o'clock? LOL. Super nice car though. Rant over.

Yeah, he did it more than a couple times, but I think the corner workers just missed seeing it quite a few times.

Tom, great photos as always.
My"interesting" moment of the day was when the gray Mustang tried to dive-bomb inside of me in T4, which I tend to take at 75-80... I stood on brakess, and went straight in order to avoid that ... individual. First time i used my horn on the track. Rest of the day was awesome, with many rides shared, lots of good feedback received from a few folks, and many laughs. Last edited by nomile; 11-20-2013 at 08:26 PM.. |

Yeah... No... Too cold for me, and too much else going on. But I did get to work on the car a bit. Compression was 150-152 across all cylinders @ 6700 ft elevation... Not bad for an 18 yr old engine. (The M42, that is)
Now i just have to find more camber... |
