Ebay intercoolers
There are a whole bunch of aftermarket intercoolers for the 335 on ebay for between $300 and $400. Anyone use one of these? They are rated from 500bhp and up. Anyreason to stay away?

For that price range just go with something proven such as the 5" or 7" VRSF FMIC. You may experience fitment and performance issues with the eBay FMICs. If you can go higher in your spending budget then there's also ETS and Helix. What is your whp goal?

That was the consensus. I noticed an influx of ebay buying lately on this forum. Not sure what it's about but I might need to put my store on their if it continues LOL |

Thats a good point. For a few dollars more, you are correct, this is the way to go. I'm thinking my ultimate bhp goal is 450. Do you think I would be good with the 5"? Any reason I should go with the 7? |

No reason to go with some BS, no name brand, eBay intercooler that there is no data supporting it's IAT suppression or pressure drop. You also have no idea how the metal is going to hold up over long term exposure to the elements (rust?).
If you want your car to run reliably (especially if it's modded), you're gonna need to spend some extra coin on certain parts (FMIC, Tune, Turbos, Clutch, LSD, etc) and save on some others (DCIs). |

For a little more why not just get proven fmic, vrsf is very popular for good reason just over 400.00 with proven results. usually you get what you pay for.

I got a ETS 5' from Jeff and couldn't be happier. Don't cheap yourself to save a few bucks. The marginal difference in price dictates quality and reliability. Why chance having to buy 2-3 FMIC when you can pay a little more and just get 1? Just my .02.
