That's basically what I've been telling the dealership for the last 6 months. Long crank on cold start due to hpfp failure. Fucking idiots. Now that there's a code they can kiss my ass. |

Yeah my Vanos looks like its going out. The dealership just reprogrammed my DME and said it was good. I get home and I get the code again. I have to take it back to them again...

Hey long story short I went to the dealer yesterday and got an upgrade and now I think I've got a new unsupported ROM. How can I confirm this?
I came across this procedure here that downloads my ROM and sends it to COBB. Do I go ahead and just do it? http://www.cobbtuning.com/BMW-N55-Ac...pport/UserDump Thanks, |

Data Logging Question
Hey Guys,
Used the forum search and was directed here. Car: 08 335xi 6-MT Coupe Mods: Cobb Stg 1 Agg and DCI's. Issue: Car is sputtering in higher gears 4-6th, I'm thinking the coil packs need to be changed but I wanted to see if I could do some Data Logging with the AP and see if i can tell exactly which coil (if it's just one) is giving me the issue. Question: What parameters should I set the Cobb for Data Logging, Ignition? and Boost? Just curious what other people's data logging experiences were and what methods they used for diagnosis. Thanks Buds! |

Bump....kinda curious as to what kind of power I am putting down without dynoing just yet. Just a ballpark figure for anyone running a similar setup.
I am running COBB V3 set to Stage 1 Aggressive + FMIC on 93 octane. Car is an E92 N55 with the following mods: VRSF Chargepipe BMS Intake Active Autowerke FMIC BMW Performance Exhaust Thanks! |

Quick question, in NY where they simply scan your car for emissions codes for the state inspection, do I need to uninstall the tune? I'm running state 1 aggressive, no downpipes or other performance modifications that would throw a code. Basically the tune isn't going to affect OBDII readiness, correct?

I may have misread, I saw the fmic and thought I saw dp's also. I'm thinking you can at least run stage 2 mild. Hell I run stage 1 aggressive with bms drop-in, cpe charge pipe and BMW perf exhaust. 93 octane all day of course. You should hit up COBB and verify what you can run.

Good news - I brought the car in this morning and it passed NY emissions with The Cobb stage 1 aggressive installed. No issue at all.
