LCI Conversion add value?
Hi guys, I have the opportunity to complete a full LCI conversion (minus bumpers at this stage) for about $500. I realize that the visual difference between pre-lci e90 and lci e90 is huge but would it really add any value to the car? I have a 2006 323i black 6spd manual 90,000 miles.
Any advice is greatly appreciated! |

Thank you so much. I had honestly not considered that. I figured because it was just the hood and trunk really that a serious front end crash would involve the replacement of more parts than an lci swap. I appreciate your advice

probably not add much value but i still think you should do it anyway for your own enjoyment.

I appreciate the input gentlemen. I guess i was wondering if it would detract from the value of the car. Might just go ahead and acquire the parts anyway thanks!

Just depends on how long you plan on owning the car really.

Yeah, I mean it's a tradeoff. The more mods the more you narrow the market for your car if you decide to sell it. Plenty of reasons to do it anyway, especially if you don't plan to sell your car anytime soon.

Yeh thats the logic behind it because it's kind of an OEM modification of you can excuse that choice of words lol. I am just delaying buying the m3 replica bumper until I have decided on the lci or not. Decisions decisions! Thanks
