Are factory wheels best?
My 335i/Sport Package came with 18" wheels and the good old run flats. Replacing the tires I will do.
I was prepared to go to 19" wheels for the look but after reading too many threads about tire height, ride and handling it begs the question; Without lowering, will I experience reduced handling with 19" wheels? I suspect yes. My style 287 wheels have grown on me and aside from looks is there a compelling reason to switch? |

You should see no reduction in handling by moving to 19" assuming you choose a similar quality tire to your current 18" setup.

The factory BMW 313 M wheels are 19" and are an option on the 335is (maybe others too?) handling will be more affected by the type of tires you get than the difference between 18 and 19" wheels.
