H&R sport spring..

I was wondering why my H&R sport spring didn't have same height balance.(I installed it 2 months ago and have the same lowering height)

I just change new wheels (3 days ago) and noticed that the right front side are higher than the left(+0.25"), while on the rear it's the opposite. Does it mean that I need to go for alignment?( My front wheel is turning to right side also ).

Give them a few days to settle into the new wheels.

Are you referring to the right side as in the passenger side? If so there is something wrong...

BMW compensates for driver's weight so the default set up would be that the passenger side (both front and rear tires) sits a little lower than the driver's side if there is no one inside. Now when you sit in the car all 4 sides should be some what even.

I just went to alignment shop.. and they said that the negative camber on the front left and front right is different, so are the rear (by -.25) if i'm not mistaken, couldn't recall it..
He said that's the reason that made the height difference.
The shop quoted me $200 to fix the rear camber and $100 for the front camber.
He said that the rear was -1.5 and -1.75 (I think so)..

Do I need to fix it or just leave it?Since I think that cost alot.. Will it have any negative effect if I dont fix it? So far everything is fine, just the height difference which is the problem.

I Purposely set my rear's camber to -2, but thats just me.

The front you can't really do much since you'll need camber plates.

Negative camber is good for handling, but tire wear might be uneven, the inner part of the tires will wear out faster.

So there will be no other negative effects beside faster tire wearing?
If that is so, I wouldn't want to spend $300 just to fix the camber so that it will have the same height.

Who installed ur springs for you?

Only height difference would be that the passenger side front and rear sits a little bit lower than the driver's side.

I installed it 4 months ago, when I went back to the workshop, he just said to me why I complaint now, not before.
I simply said that I didn't notice it until last week.
Anyway, he's trying to avoid being blamed. I asked another alignment shop, all they say that the spring are fine, it's just the camber are different slightly between left and right side.

This is my car on H&R sport, this is the driver's side

and this is the passenger side, as you can see, it is a tad lower...

The camber, castor and toe settings should match left to right.

I'd fix it (personally)

Okay here's the pix taken from ground lvl..

The 3rd and 4th pix are Rear driver and Rear passengers..-->the Rear passengers is 0.5" higher (the yellow line I drew)

The 5th and 6th pix are Front driver and Front passengers..-->the Front driver is 0.25" higher (yellow line)

I have no idea what's going on with my car, all I heard is that the alignment shop said it was the difference in camber front both left and right side..

i belive( dont get crazy if im wrong) but bmw made our cars like to be higher on the driver side so when we( the driver) sit in the car the car become level. its kinda hard to explain but its normal cause my car is the same. but to fix ur camber they are chargin 300 thats too much because all u need is a alignment which should be no more then 100.
