My 2011 E92 328i sport - 16k miles/rwd/6mt
Hey guys, figured I'd share some photos of my car. I just got it last week, I'm already in love. I've been searching for a RWD, 6mt, lci, m-sport 328i (no 335i's, I didn't want to deal with the turbos. I know, I know...). I ideally wanted a sedan for practicality reasons, although I liked how the coupe looked much better. I quickly realized what I wanted was quite rare, even searching across the entire country. I had my eyes set on the m-sport package since I think it looks so good, but this sport package car popped up 20 minutes from me with everything else I wanted. Sport package (sport seats, m-sport suspension), even heated seats and steering wheel with was a nice plus. The car had 15,xxx when I test drove it (16,413 when I picked it up), it was garaged every winter and never even driven in the rain. I didn't really believe that part of the ad until I saw it in person... under the car there was not a spec of rust, it looked brand new inside and out.
Although this is my first BMW, I've been obsessed for years. I've put 1,200 miles on in the first 8 days that I've had it, I keep looking for excuses to drive it. I couldn't be happier with finding an LCI, rwd, sport package, N/A, 6mt car. Expect many more photos in the future! Speaking of photos, that's what you're here for, so here ya go - Last edited by misterkliper; 09-19-2017 at 11:34 AM.. |

No way, a few weeks ago I started seeing a white one pass me going north on 17 all the time around 6pm every time I'd head to my gf's place. Must be you! Great looking car. Edit: Also, just looked at your avatar and I've definitely seen your old car about a million times on 17 too haha.

Mind me asking how much you paid for it?
I got mine (see signature) after about a year of casually looking. I paid $11,500 earlier this year when it had 83k miles. I thought I did pretty well. No clue what to expect to pay for a low mileage one like yours! You should swap the diff out for a 3.73 from an auto e90. Makes it that much more fun to drive. Thank you! Granted I owe that all to the previous owner, but I've been keeping it up too. I just made a separate one for the car, not sure how much I'll actually use it in the future though. Regardless, it's www.instagram.com/e92_328i Also, just looked up your page in your post history... I've been following you from my personal page for a while now! Your e90 looks awesome with the style 219's I know... I had been searching the entire country for several months trying to find rwd, 6mt, m sport and only a few popped up the whole time. Miles were either too high, price was too high, or they fell through while setting up a ppi. I'm missing the bumpers and steering wheel, but the car still has the sport suspension and seats so I'm happy. Yep. The car sucks :/ Quote:
Thanks! Pretty happy with it for my first BMW. Got 'em. Thanks, Dan. |

I was originally looking for a LCI M-sport E90 sedan but told myself I wouldn't get one without Xenons. I finally decided to look at coupes and two week later I stumbled upon my 2011 E92 M-sport 6MT with 57k miles only 3 hours away. It was in very good shape with just rock Chips on the front bumper. Almost new Pilot Super Sports and the brakes had been changed. Talked them down to $16,700 cash out the door with all fees and taxes.
I've put 10k miles on it so far with some BMW performance upgrades. The 328i specific short shift lever for $80 is a major improvement! |

I just wanted to ad how difficult it is to find a 328i M-sport, M-suspension with a 6mt. I too looked for months on a national search to find a low mileage and fully loaded e92. One finally turned up 3 hours away and they delivered it to me.
Fully loaded up 328i e92's with all the M stuff and a 6-speed manual are IMHO very very rare!! So glad to have one. |
