On BMWUSA.com, when you come to the end of your build, it asks about adding accessories and there is an option for an Aerodynamic Kit. Now according to the dealer, this kit will not be available for a few months because they are still "working things out with the manufacture." This came from someone at the corporate office is whichever department knows this particular info.

Anyone have any info on this? Any sketches make their way into the wrong hands? And why even have it as an option to click, raise the price of your build, then to go to the dealer and find out it isn't available yet. It's very heart breaking, no?

ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Oh and by the way, what are the odds of my exact build already been allocated and is already awaiting transportation

becareful getting at the dealer....they might charge you $1000 for install

i have been with my dealer for years. they service my 07 E90 08 E82 and now her...

$1000 is not only for install. It's for install AND paint. Dealer's don't do the install....the port does (if the car is ordered with the kit).

As for availability...not really sure personally, I'm still waiting for the people at the port to let me know bc I have a few clients waiting on it as well.
