Forged or Cast??

Does anyone know if BMW wheels are forged or cast?

Thanks. That's what I figured. I'm thinking of the 17in 162 Replicas at lakeshoretire.com for winter. They are cast also. They will do a package. Right now they have the Dunlop M3 and Pirellis in RFT for winter.

BMW has some 19" wheels for the E90 that are forged.

OK. According to the BMW accessories catalogue the following OEM rims are forget:

Radial Spoke 190 19"
M cross spoke composite wheel 101 19"

The rest of the M rims are actually cast according to the catalogue

Well the 190 19" are "forget and shined".

The 101 19" are "forget two part rims with titanium bolts".'

The rest of the M-rims; 216, 194 and 193 are cast rims.
