Kumho ECSTA 711

Does anyone have any experience with these tires? I bought a set of style 161 wheels, 3 of which have Pirelli RFT tires with about 7000 miles on them. It will cost me close to $200 to buy a new matching tire. The tirerack has
Kumho ECSTA 711 (High Performance Summer) tires at a closeout price of $59.00 ea. I plan to buy 5 of them (one as a potential replacement). I will use my OEM 16" style 156 wheels and tires in the winter. The reviews for this tire are fairly good considering the price. I will carry a patch kit and compresser in case of a flat tire. I have had only one flat in the last 20 yrs or so I'll just gamble. That's what AAA is for. What do you think?

Give those 711's a pass, regardless of price. I had some 195/50-16's on my Mazda Protege and found that they had no summer wet weather grip when starting or stopping, and limited grip in the corners. Their dry weather performance was inferior to the OEM tire (which also had poor wet weather performance, after 10,000 miles).
