craziest thing i have ever seen, the cop was in a white volvo with dark tints, but his only lights were two little lights on the front passenger visor! i was doing 95mph passing MIA airport and he chaught me. didnt get a ticket though!! so Miami people be on the lookout for a hite volvo undercover cop car

Here in Washington and in Oregon they use Volvo's, Audi's, Dodge Stratus, Subaru WRX's and many others as stealth police vehicles. You never know where a cop is. Sucks for those that like to speed as it seems they are everywhere.

it was a real cop, he came to my window and showed me the badge and i didnt know what the registration was so he was like "is theis the first time u get pulled over?" i said yes , "well then i dont want to ruin your record, so il let u go this time, but i will talk to your parents" so he made me call my mom and he talked to my mom but she doesnt care because she knows i know what im doing (im a race car driver, my website is www.scheerspeed.com if u wana see)

hmmm, i dont know about sketchy, but i have seen Minivan undercover in Vancouver BC highways....

as far as i know, any vehicle that the police convinscate(spelling) from anyone, drug dealers, speeders, whatever. they own that car and can make it an undercover car. sucks. also... i have heard stories that if you get pulled over by an under cover, you dont HAVE to stop. you can keep going, call 911, say you think it might be someone impersonating a cop. i dont know how that ends. i dont think i would have the guts to try it. but i have heard people talk about it.

that is why i asked if he is a real cop. I can make fake id in any city and any town (anyone can do that and say they are a police officer).

^^ I had a circumstance where I was pulled over by an off-duty cop in an old ford ranger. I had my S2000 and the guy thought I was driving too agressively even though I hadn't really broken any laws (speed, lane changes, etc)... Ended up trying to fight it in court, because I didn't want it on my record, and it turned out that the lawyer was a wuss with the judge, and although he got it off my record, I still had to pay the fine, and pay him! It was a bad deal...

But back to the senario - I didn't pull over right away even though he wanted me to, and he of course, chewed my ass about that one... The way that he first tried to pull me over was riding my bumber and pointing angrily to the side of the road (no lights or markings). When that didn't work, then he proceeded to pull alongside me and yell with his badge out the window in my face. It was at that point, that I decided to pull over...

The raw deal also was that he couldn't write the ticket - He had to call on on-duty cop (who had no clue what happened, and even admitted that to me) to write the ticket. What do you do... Sometimes you get lucky - other times you get screwed...

i passed a UC at 90+ mph on a 40mph street and he just yelled at me flashed his flashlight at my tints and told me to slow down or else their gonna impound my car. ive had funny experiences with UCs in my life. one wanted to stab me at mcdonalds.

Honestly, unless they're in a patrol car, I don't know if I'd pull over. If they want people to pull over for them they should officially mark their cars with some way they can be identified or if they're UC, call a patrol car to do the traffic stop.

Volvo is nothing! Try living in HI where the cops can drive their own cars and just have a blue light on top. I have seen it all! POS to 4 Runners.

Yep. there is a famous tuned yellow subaru WRX that cruises on I-5. Word is the car is heavily modified to catch street racers. Victims have posted in NW racing forum saying that when they tried to provoke a street race to the WRX, it started flashing and pulled their asses over.

i have seen a flashing typical crown vic going fast down a highway with a chrysler 300 flashing lights right behind him.

i guess the police departments are getting higher budgets for patrol cars
