12k for a supercharger? I'll pass, as the rest of the board should. I have never even heard of ARMA until someone posted about their supercharger kit in the works. Does any know if they even make quality/proven products?
Taiwan is not on mainland China...nor is the political/national identity the same as China.

like all the Tai people need to relax, its not like its your duty to stand up for your country in every way possible, like stop freaking out about it. does taiwan make good cars, NO... end of story. every country hast its ups and downs but this product just happens to be more fishy for its application thats all due to its has no record of making good cars or car parts.. if it makes anyone feel better tai food is awesome. yay for a compliment !!!

that price is a rip off, the whole thing just seems oddly wrong at this point. like WTF are they thinking over there. HPF sells the E46 M3 turbo kit that does 1000HP for nearly that price so why the hell would anyone over here spend that much for out NA cars to produce less. i know there is a difference in engines obviously.
Oh god, I feel like your whole post here can be invalid when you made a fool of yourself by believing Taiwanese was the same as Thai. -__-;

Yeah, so $12,000 is overkill, but if you're going to make a whole speech about a country, make sure you understand the difference between Thailand and Taiwanese. And I just have to say, it's THAI food, now "tai".

I've been to both Thailand and Taiwan... Lol... Yes completely different countries and btw Taiwan is not apart of China, the complete opposite. The Chinese government still classifies Taiwan as a rebelling providence. Stupid.

If u actually read, its TAI not THAI, which is different in spelling. I'm sure that he knows Thailand and Taiwan is different. And Taiwan used to be part of China, or somewhere along those lines. Anyhow, please stop debating about these things, and yes i agree that Taiwanese people need to calm down about these stuff.. I mean I understand you guys, and correction is justice, but there is no need to insult others or make them feel bad. Thanks

Surely we can get a better price than $6700 +install. I don't know what about that it is one of a kind except for the bracket.

Agreed, BUT at least we are getting better.

Someone should send Active Autowerke a message.

We all know HPF will do something with the n54 bc there is a larger market.

Well somebody take notes what Schaper is selling and see what it costs. I'm betting this can be done well for maybe 3k.

I really want FI! Ahh! I should have done more research on the N52... I had a E46 M3 and was so used to the abundance of goodies for the E46's.

someone go back to college, figure it out, and sell it...

on a serious note, what would be a reasonable price for a supercharger? I feel like no matter what, it would still be cheaper to sell and buy the 335. (I know this is said too much, and I am not advocating it, I love my 330) but if you spend all this money on a SC...you could get a 335 and chip it for only a little more money... thus making it faster then ours will ever be.

Maybe you should click on the link to Republic of China (ROC) and then People's Republic of China (PRC) to see the difference.

HPF already said (on ***********) that they are moving onto the n54 and will NOT be doing the e9X m3.

So, unfortunately I would say that means a no go for n52 too, probably.

I havent looked at the ARMA solution, but I can give you a breakdown of the cost to S/C my old VW GTi VR6.
All figures are USD and are 2001-2 dollar amounts, so add 9% inflation to all of them?

AMS S/C kit (Vortech V1 centrifugal)-$3600
Magnaflow exh system- $350
EIP Chip (to replace AMS)- $350
4 bar Fuel Pressure Regulator (It was actually a rising rate one)-$100
Installation and DYNO tuning- $1200

So that brings me to a total of $5500 usd. and netted me approx 224-237 rhp.

Couple of options would have brought it to $7000 to $8000 and 255+ RHP

New Injectors
Fuel Pump
FMIC.
New Clutch
LSD

What does the ARMA kit include? If it includes all of the above, it might not be THAT bad of a deal....

12k is still alot of coin no matter which way you spin it
