Just watched this again somewhere else and caught more of the dialogue.

The BNP guy shouts over to the Asians on the other side of the street:

"How many of you'se are robbers?"

Then when they come over to him he pushes the smallest Asian lad away from him twice, while telling them to 'fuck off'

Not acceptable behaviour for a parliamentary candidate.

I thought he said "How many is there of us?" as he gestures towards himself and his group when he says this.

I don't in anyway agree with BNP principles or policies but if anyone walked up to me and got in my face like that big dude i'd smash them even before the spitting incident.

Can only go on what we see in the video but I dare say both parties had an equal hand in creating the drama.

Listen carefully - he even points at himself and his mates when he says it - "how many is there of us?" (points). What I think he means is - "there are loads of us fat racist blokes, and only 3 of you, so don't come over and give us any grief".

No actually, he says "how many there is of us" so something was obviously said before to provoke that action - without knowing the full story its difficult to label whos at fault. but from the content we can only make comments on that.

And infairness to the guy in the suit, he did say "just get on your way"

Watching it again, I think you might be right.

The most disgraceful part of it is the kick at the man on the ground. I can sort of understand the BNP guy lashing out after being spat at. But chasing after someone then launching a kick at their head when they are done is really stupid. Especially when you are being filmed.
