My 335XI is in transit!!!

Hello all,

I have posted a few weeks back that I had placed an order to replace my 2001 325xi with a Sparkling Graphite 335XI SP/Logic7/USB, the first order in Canada based on my sales rep.

Well I received an update today, and it is in Transit, this means my new baby will be here in about 3 weeks.

Pictures will be posted as soon as it is in.

Now, how much time will I be able to hold off on the Procede!!!

Hey I wasn't aware there was a 335XI. I thought it was just a 328XI or a 335i. Is that a special order that you were somehow able to do?

Congratulations!
You are the definitely the first one I've heard that has the car actually on the way to your driveway! That's awesome!!!
I wonder if this means they are on the way to the dealer's lots as we speak?!!

Thanks for all the replies.

I try to answer most of the questions

First, I forgot to say I had ordered Comfort Access as well

I'm in Canada, Ottawa, we do not have the Owner Circle site that you have in the US, so I have access to less info regarding "In Transit" status. I have received the VIN, and did confirm that all my options are accurate. I'm not sure if it is in transit from the factory to the boat or already on the boat, not sure how to check that, but for sure, it is on its way, confirmed by my dealer.

My car is an e90, the e92 is coming out in the falls, from what I hear.

The Canadian BMW site is not updated either, weird as we have been able to order them for the past 6 weeks.

All in all, the wait has been bearable to date, thanks in part to the support on this site, but now that I know it was built and it is on its way, I think about the car all the time, like 24/7, hahaha

I'll keep you all posted...

What production week were you?

I'm week 12 which is this week, I guess. 335Xi, Sport, Premium, Nav, black sapphire coming my way late April or early May.

I was in production week 9, which is 3 weeks ago.

I hope I will not have any problems with it as it was the first week of production for the 335XI.

Wow, you guys are getting me pretty anxious. I'm week 13 for the 335xi. I've been told late April or early May. Tough to wait that long. It's only a car... what's wrong with me???

You can check to see if it is on a ship here:

Go to Cargo Tracking, the Auto Cargo then type in your VIN.

Thanks for the link, I will call BMW to get the full VIN as I only have the last 7 digits which does not bring back any information.

TBone, I agree with you with regards to the oil cooler, I would be surprised if mine does not have it as it is a MT, but we never know. Are you able to track your car on the site sent by CaptChaos?

Nope my dealer says he doesn't have the VIN or anything that I can track with.

I have a 6MT coming too so fingers crossed on the oil cooler.
