As for tire pressure, make sure you're checking them when they're cold and not hot. A good time to check in the morning after you've driven to get an accurate read. Hot air = more PSI. |

For winter, that seems kind of high. Check your manual for PSI that you should use depending upon temperature.
The manual for my car (not a BMW) says 36 front 35 rear for 30 degrees F. The temp here has been hovering around there for a while, so I just set them at that. Ensures maximum traction + proper PSI + tire wear for that temperature as the tires heat up due to driving. |

Like others said - check the sticker on the driver's door jamb. IIRC for my '11 335i it's 36 PSI front and 39 PSI rear.

Do you have the sport package? What size are your wheels?
According to the '07 US manual, 335i pressures should be: All-seasons: 32F/38R Summer tires - 17" wheels: 32F/33R Summer tires - 18" wheels: 32F/38R Summer tires - 19" wheels: 38F/42R 40/45 is much to high. Were the tires hot when you checked them? Tire pressures should be set cold. And, as others have said, check the door jamb card. Tom |
