BTW, I got a big curb rash on my rim from this meet. Does anyone from the Bay Area knows a good place to have it fix? Thanks.

No no on DIY. I don't want to mess it up. I'd rather pay $100+ to have it fix.

^haha sorry man. He works in the service dept but he doesn't do much so I don't think he can do much for you. Don't exactly know his name but I just know his last name is Ng lol. He's my friend's brother. The most he gets to do is bring cars to other dealerships to sell and do paperwork

So, are you saying that the dealer will do it for $99, not your friend's brother, right?

Jackson, I went to dealership to drop off my car today, and saw a sign about fixing scratched rims. I can ask them when I pick up my car tomorrow.

hopefully they don't scratch my cf splitter when they driving my car around... you know, weatherford bmw have a big dip to their underground service dpt... so worry now...

Thanks J. Could you find out for me, how much is it and how long it's gonna take them to fix it? I called a couple of Bay Area shops today, they're asking min $125/wheel and need 2 days to fix it. I don't have a spare tire and hell no that I'm gonna leave my car there for 2 days.

Yeah, I know where their service dept is. It's a hugh underground. I think you should be ok because they also store a lot of M cars there, which they're lower than your car for sure. BTW, what happens to your car?

One more thing I want to share with you guys, I came back from the meet yesterday evening (Sunday) taking highway 1, doing 70-80 mph along the coast on the manual mode and there was a Miata in front of me that won't let me pass him (both of us were doing 70 mph at that time). Until 20 mins later, he gave up and let me pass (you know how highway 1 is, along the cliff). I was so impressed by the handling of Miata. It's fun and thanks god, we still alive (my wife almost kill me after we got home).

I was crusing slowly till my gf fell asleep first, then let it rip...

But I don't think I was ever daring enough to get my speed up to 80mph, just looking down the cliffs got me scared.

I just checked with BMWSF. It's $199/wheel not $99.

My wife was asleep at first, but I woke her up after I started cornering real hard. I know I'm crazy but can't help it!

If you're coming toward north, you should be on the hill side, not the cliffs side.

J, may be we should consider Hwy 17 for the next Norcal meets.

I heard there's lots of CHP that overlook that freeway. It is a fun drive though, and it's true what they say that it's scary for those who are familiar with it.
