just got a 08 335xi

i'm definately new to this whole thing, i had a mercedes before n was on the mercedes forums but never got around to doing anything to my car.

but i just got my 335xi & i'm in LOVE with it!
i have an appointment at Advanced Sound & Tint in lynnwood on monday to get my tint done, anybody hear anything about that place before?!

i am pretty new too (just got my 328i not too long ago)
I actually got my tint done at that place. (Friend of my gf own that place)
It's pretty good place. Dan (the owner) will go over the options with you for your car!

Welcome to the club. Glad ur in love with ur car haha. Why don't u call Seattle Accutint and ask them how much they will charge u for Ceramic tint? Also remember to mention Johnny Lin and they should treat you well! Read two threads down, people are talking about tint there. I got my tint done at Accutint too. My friend named Derek didn't have time to do it for me and flaked on me twice so I ended up going to Accutint.

If u have navi and comfort access, u should definetely get the ceramic tint cuz it's said to not interfere with the reception and such...

does Accutint place do tinting on headlights as well? i am thinking of smoking all the headlights after I replace fog light/DTR with either LED or HID

Yes they can smoke ur lights for u. And princess I have navi without comfort as well and I got the ceramic tint. U need to make some more posts so ppl can pm u.

I don't recommend Accutint. My car had a lot of issues with the tint and they didn't really want to fix it.

I would take it to Metropolitan Detail, ask for John or Benjamin

Accutint had to re-do my driver side window twice. It's about to be re-done a third time.

i went to accutint for my mercedes, and i needed to get it fixed but they wouldn't do it for me. but they were highly recommended by barrier when i bought my car so i went there. at this point, especially since it's getting sunny, i don't care where i go anymore, i just need tint!!!

Go to Metropolitan Detail. I've seen their work, and them installing the film, they really take care of the cars and make sure not to damage anything (unlike Accutint, and they didn't even want to fix the things they damaged)

i used to go to a fella named Mino (like Nimo) out in auburn. lost his number but his shop was dealer xpress. i know, kind of a drive and i was reluctant to go out there myself... but he ended up tinting half a dozen cars for me and always did a great job. haven't been out there in a couple years but he does excellent work.

Seattle Accutint, not Bellevue Accutint. They are own by two different person and the employees are different as well. The one in Seattle is more friendly, nicely and responsible.
