Install Borla 140505 performance catback exhaust on E90 328i
I plan to buy a Borla catback and install it myself. I looked underneath the car, installing this catback requires cutting the pipe after the catalytic converter. Usually, I have no problem doing diy, but in this particular case, this diy will destroy the structure of original part, which is a key difference from many other diys where if failed we can put the original part back. Of course, we can still put them back by using welding or pipe connector.
Any opinions? Would you do it? Thanks |

Unless your planning on ever putting the stock system back on (only reason would be sale of the car) why does it matter the stock 328i exhaust belongs in the garbage its tuned for grandma, the stock 330i exhaust is what 328's should have sounded like with the 330i being even more aggressive, such a nice straight 6 with a Prius soundtrack.
