Question for Shiv....

Shiv this may sound like a stupid question, but lets say BMW detuned some of there production dates whatever they may be. Will the V2 correct the detuning and give the same horsepower and torque of a 335 that wasn't detuned with a V2, or will it have less power than a not detuned 335 with a V2.

thanks in advance!

I know I'm not Shiv, but my guess would be that the Procede limits the modification of the wire signals a set amount as apposed to looking for a set, net result (no idea what i'm talking about) so it probably would not bring every car to the same point if they weren't the same to start, no. It would if it measures the yielded signal due to it's presence, however.

yeah....I'm thinking you're right and it would not correct the detune if BMW actually decided to bring it down to the 300hp/300torque as advertised, as we all know it was or still is putting out over that.

I thought this was a great question.....I think this is the only plus at the moment for getting a flash done, if some were in fact detuned. I'm still going piggy-back as the final #'s are all that matters when comparing to other tunes, flash or piggy-backs.

I would think a flash would indeed correct any detune, but if a piggy-back is still putting out better number's, what does it matter, unless it is doing so only by using more boost......anyone with a flash know thier boost numbers?
