Reputable Dyno Facility in San Diego?
Does anyone know of a good dyno shop in San Diego. I went to the Dyno Shop in Santee today and they had problems hooking up my car and my readings didn't look right. I want to get it redynoed and wanted to take it to a place that is familiar with our cars.

I just responded to your PM; there's Dose inc. which is also in Santee, they specialize in BMWs; Mech Tech in Escondido is also good. Both are dynojets.

Mechtech charges a different price for everybody (I used to be a fabricator/mechanic there). Jim will typically charge anywhere from $90-120 for three power pulls.
This is the same guy who told me that we charge $90 to install lowering springs on a civic and $180 for a BMW (E36's at the time) I can install springs in an E36 in less than an hour, and a civic always takes about 1.5. "He's got a BMW he can afford it"-Jim McFarland Good shop, but prices are not set in stone. |
