Can I install the V2, put in the bypass plugs then jump on the dyno to get an accurate baseline run? Will the car act exactly as stock with the bypass plugs in?

1. dyno V2 w/ bypass plugs in
2. take out bypass plugs and drive around for 30-50 miles to let V2 re-adapt.
3. dyno V2

will this work fine?

Yes it will act as it is stock. Then, when you take the bypass plugs off, make sure you do at least (5) solid 3rd gear pulls while your re-adapting it...

I think it should. I did that except I put in the bypass plugs once I got to the dyno, did my baseline run and then took out the bypass plugs and reran immediately. No adaptation. I still got a good idea of what my car was doing. Your way would certainly be more accurate.

* will I need to let the ECU re-adapt to the lack of a v2? Could I just unplug the battery for however long to reset the ECU?

Depends on your goal. Would you prefer a accurate V2 Dyno and slightly less accurate stock dyno or you prefer an accurate stock dyno and a less accurate V2 Dyno??

I'd rather have a more accurate V2 dyno. I think I'm going to install the v2, do some datalogging and get the settings up to 94-95% (i'm on 93 octane over here on the east) and drive around for a few days... then get dynoed, then put in the bypass plugs and reset the ecu and get a baseline.
