Question Will this setup work for my e90?

Hello Bimmers,

My local dealer offering a very good price on the new m3 wheels, and it's as the following:

18X8.5 ET30 Front & 18X9.5 ET39 Rear

Tires will be:

225/40/R18 Front & 255/35/R18 Rear

I was wondering will it works perfect for my e90 , is this offset working perfect?

Thanks a lot in advance for your help & explanation!

Regards

They can work but I'd put 20mm spacers all around. I'd also go with 235/40 and 265/35 instead.

Depends what kinda look you are looking for, but those would fit and you wont need fender roll or anything and tyre sizes are fine for the wheels.

That doesn't make any sense. With those spacers the setup would be 18x8.5 et10 front and 18x9.5 et19 rear. Also it's LCI so wider rear track, so the et19 would equal et11 at pre-lci.

Thank you for your feedback!

I want to stick out the wheels as much as i can without using any spacers or having any rubbing or problems within the wheelwell , so what are the maximum offsets for Front/Rear should I use ?

"someone told me ET22 on j8.5 for front & ET34 on j9.5 for rear but I'm not sure!

I would say that's pretty close to correct for E90 LCI, maybe even needs to have higher rear offset. Basically what you have asked is probably closest you can do for sure without issues. Compared to this http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=820534 your setup would retract 5mm front and 4mm rear and you also have narrower tyres.

Ah damn, I just messed that up. Disregard what I said. Thanks for catching that.

Thank you Monaco

I went to the local dealer today to check what offsets/widths are available for style 441. Only 18/8.5 ET30 Front & 18/9.5 ET39 Rear.

My car is E90 320i 2011 (LCI) , which has a bigger wheelwell than Pre-LCI & I think that 18/8.5 ET30 Front & 18/9.5 ET39 Rear will not stick out farther to the maximum i can get ? what do you think ?

Not true your LCI has 8mm/side wider rear track than pre-lci e90, so it has less room. Meaning that et39 at lci will extend as far as et31 at pre-lci. Those style 441 are about the max you can do without rolling fenders at rear. Although many variables affect to it.

Yes, you are right about the rear part but what about the front will ET30 be the maximum or should i look for lower offset ?

You can do 8.5 et20 with 225/40/18.
