Hey Everyone!

I’ve tried to do a search but couldn’t find what I was looking for and I’m getting conflicting information a lot of people, including dealers and indie shops.

With regard to the x-pipe and muffler, I’ve always been told both components can be used interchangeably on the E90, regardless of RWD or AWD. I was told recently that only the muffler can be used interchangeably.

Can anyone help clarify the fitment scenarios now that I’m questioning everything I originally thought? Is there any combo of components that doesn’t work?
