Axiom how about we all roll on 15s as long as they clear the brakes. That would make us all true enthusiasts and not ricer.

Or these.
Whatcha think?

I don't think you understand WHY Automakers make bigger wheels in the first place - 1. for appearance, they don't actually net any performance benefit. 2. To clear larger brakes.

If you're doing something that isn't functional in any way, and can be a detriment to your cars performance, then that's pretty ricer in my book.

All about that width and offset!

What are the specs?

Style 95 is really the only other susper concave front at a reasonable price. These f14s are even better bc i think they weigh 10lbs less EACH WHEEL than the style 95s!

I think you're on the wrong platform then, sir. Should everyone ditch their factory spec wheels and go with $200 a pop Apex wheels like you to avoid being a ricer? Nothing looks better than a wheel too small for the fenders!

19" is a factory size. Which you are calling rice. BMW is rice, in your definition then. News to me.

That being said, OP asked about what color we think would look best with his wheel choice, not what 18" China cast wheels you prefer to run on your car because you are the antirice.

BMW wheels are "rice." Just because it's factory, doesn't mean it's tasteful.

You little stanceworks wheel whore guys are hilarious.

You should really go to some 16'' wheels then since 16'' fit on a 328i. 17'' wheels are rice on 328s.

You little elitest "the only right way to modify a car is the way I modified my car" guys are even more funny. I don't see the "little stanceworks wheel whores" going into peoples threads and bashing someone's car because they want to run 18's with meaty tires for performance reasons. Don't like 19's, don't buy them and shut up about it. You sound like a vegan who does cross fit and goes to church... Always interjecting with shit no one wants or cares to hear.

So which color should the OP go with?

Considered it, but there is such thing as diminishing returns. 17s are the best compromise in terms of wheel weight, tire size and cost.

You're FUCKING RIGHT it is. I'm an expert on MY opinion and I don't see that changing for the forseeable future. You are welcome to like what you like and modify your car how you like, and I'm allowed to have my opinion about it.

You want to put 20" BBS Style 5s on your car and ask for our opinions - We are going to give it. Newsflash - not everyone is going to agree with your choices.

I'm VERY well aware that people don't like that I choose to modify my 328i, or that I chose it over a 335i - I don't care. The more butthurt you and everyone get about MY choices, the more I'm going to dig in a rub it in your faces.

You're right, you're welcome to your opinion and you should do what you want with your car. The issue isn't that you can't voice your opinion, it's that no one asked what size and what brand wheels they should buy. He asked what color and you proceeded to advise OP to buy China made cast wheels in 18" because his choice was rice. No one asked nor gives a shit about what wheels you have or the reason you have them, so you don't need to be an asshat. No one is butthurt about your wheels or 328i, I can assure you, but if you make derogatory statements about the size wheels which the majority of people on this forum run, it seems that you're the one that is butthurt.

Zero fucks given who runs what, or where they are made. I don't care, it doesn't impress me, and even if President Obama endorsed them himself wouldn't get me on board with them. They are nice looking wheels - I just wouldn't get them in 19" and I'd have a hard time justifying them over APEX wheels which are just as nice in my opinion.

Honestly, you could have just left well enough alone like everyone else, put in your 2 cents and ignored my comment. But you can't do that, you need to have the last word, you NEED to have everyone respect your style and choices - and that just isn't going to happen.

I don't care what people think of my wheels, I didn't start an opinion thread, the OP did and your opinion was irrelevant to what he was asking. I don't need to have the last word, it just didn't look like our discussion was over. If your dumbass comment was meant to be ignored, why did you bother writing it?

Anyways, apologies to the OP for side tracking his thread. My vote is still for piano black, though gunmetal looks badass too.

Don't buy Forgestars. I have a set of F14 19" wheels that are all bent or trashed.
They claim roll forming but the wheel is no stronger than a good cast wheel. It might be lighter but it is not stronger.

If you bend a wheel be prepared to be bent over to get a replacement.
OP - Take my expensive advise and buy something else.
I have $1400 in Forgestar aluminum recycling in my garage....

I now have Apex. Better customer service. They stock wheels for replacement and don't charge an arm an a leg.
