Does anyone have experience with ordering a new MY BMW during the summer? Do the pricing and options lists generally come out in mid August?

What I am trying to understand is optimum timing to be able order any new options or colors (crossing my fingers on Silver Grey) that will come out for the 2009 model and still get the earliest possible delivery, ED in my case.

Hey man, im in the same situation. I had an 08 e90 328i on order for a May build and July delivery, until i found out they would give the e90s a facelift for 2009. So im going to order a 2009, and my dealer said they should have the specs and ordering guide for the 2009s in July, then I can order it and receive the car in September.

I'm waiting to place my E90 330D M Sport as soon as the configurations are available.

I was at the dealers today. You can order an E90 Saloon with buils start in August, but not in September and the option is blanked out on the dealer's screen. An E91, E92 or E93 can be ordered with a build start date in August or September.

That tells me for sure the new E90s are available with a Sep build date even though BMW UK refused to confirm that to me on the phone last week.

I had always planned to do European Delivery, but that may change depending on how much I'm traveling for work.
