Hey

I'm interested in getting downpipes but I'm worried about a few things...

1) is there a lot of drone in the cabin while cruising etc
2) is there wastegate rattle
3) does it give out a lot of smoke from the exhaust or black smoke

Anyone in GTA willing to let me hear their cars?

I have this setup:

1) No.
2) If you have wastegate rattle, I found that it becomes more noticeable after installing downpipes.
3) No.

My car is still parked for the winter so unfortunately can't meet up to hear it in person yet. If you haven't found anyone in 3 weeks or so I'll have my car out and you're welcome to come by to hear it in person.

hey, i have catless down pipes and bmw performance exhaust. here is how it sounds like. Still have my secondary cats in place. Does not drone .

Here's a video of my car before I restored back to stock.

2. That will depend if you are experiencing any rattles, mine started rattling about after 15-20k. Which is why I restored to stock to get new turbos

Hey,

Have an 07 E92, My mods are in my signature. As the others rightfully said, if you had rattle from your turbos, it will be more pronounced with DP's. Thats what I experienced as well. Personally, IMHO the trade off of Dp's, FMIC, outway that of the rattle. I am at 210km, and car runs like a champ. In Niagara falls with my family, but will be back saturday afternoon, dont mind meeting up. Just pm me. There is a wealth of knowledge here. Youbare at the right place. Either way, good luck.
