Bastuck Quad Exhaust
I have done about 2000k since I fitted a Bastuck quad exhaust on my e92 335.
The sound is great, deep and smooth down low and comes on strong under power and as the revs rise. No vibration or resonance anywhere and not much louder than OEM on cruise. Fitting was straight forward, cold cut saw the OEM pipes and clamp the adaptor pipes to them. The muffler hangs on the OEM mounts and no adjustments are needed. The rear valance needs to be cut, and I did this with a dremel and small cutter. The Bastuck valance insert fits very well to the existing valance. I had mine painted to match the car and fitted by a BMW body shop as it is best to epoxy the valance insert as well as screw it to the OEM valance on the under edge. Every thing fitted very well. Her are some pics: |

Sounds like a good package, and you are happy with it
Can you fit bigger tips? IMO it would give it a "beefier" look to go with the sound, but not if you are trying to be a sleeper

The tips are 80mm OD. Larger tips could be fitted, 90mm OD, and would stay within the diffuser with maybe some relieving on the inside edge.
I am happy with the way they are being a bit of a sleeper and looking like they maybe OEM. The system also has EEC type approval for e92 with 335 N54 engine so I do not expect any issues with warranty or insurance. |

I got the trunk spoiler from Brisbane BMW. It is OEM e92 M sport part number 51710414373. I also installed front M aero lip part number 511104114371 at the same time.

I do not have a sound clip however there is one at http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=bastuck+sound
There are also photos and posts on this link. This system has the secondary cats deleted so is a fraction louder than mine. I did not get my system from IND US as the price was much better to do a direct import from Germany. |
